ISSUER - JAKARTA. The market capitalization of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) has once again surpassed that of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), making BREN the second-largest publicly traded company by market cap, following PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA).
On Friday (5/4), BREN's stock price soared by 17.87%, or Rp 1.050, to Rp 6.925 per share. This surge in BREN's stock price pushed its market cap to a staggering Rp 926.47 trillion.
Just a day before, on Thursday (4/4), BREN's market cap stood at Rp 785.99 trillion.

The surge in BREN's stock price has allowed it to overtake PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), which has a market cap of Rp 848 trillion.
BBRI's market cap fell from Rp 856.31 trillion on Thursday (4/4) to Rp 848 trillion on Friday (5/4), as its stock price dropped by 0.88% to Rp 5.650 per share.
