STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. Stockbit continues to see significant engagement from investors in Indonesia. On Monday, August 25th, 2025, the platform recorded the highest transaction volume and frequency on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with transactions totaling IDR 3.32 trillion across more than 976,000 trades.
In a written statement, William, Head of PR & Corporate Communication at Stockbit, noted that the platform has consistently ranked first among retail investors from January to August 2025.
“Year-to-date, out of 95 securities companies operating in Indonesia, Stockbit ranks first in terms of transaction frequency. During this period, more than 58 million stock trading transactions were carried out on Stockbit. We are truly grateful for the trust of the investors,” he said in a press release, Tuesday (26/8/2025).

Data from the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) at the end of July 2025 shows that the number of stock investors in the country has nearly reached 7.4 million, with almost 80% under the age of 40.
This represents a notable increase from 5.2 million investors at the end of 2023 and 6.3 million at the end of 2024. In response to the growing investor base and public interest in the capital market, Stockbit continues to develop tools and resources to support both new and experienced investors.
William highlighted several factors contributing to Stockbit’s popularity, including ease of use, no minimum deposit requirements, and competitive transaction fees of 0.15% for buying and 0.25% for selling.
Security features such as Smart Login with biometric authentication and two-factor verification are also emphasized to ensure investor confidence.
The platform additionally provides educational resources through Stockbit Academy, offline discussion sessions, and Investment Galleries established in partnership with the Indonesia Stock Exchange in multiple regions.

Its user interface is designed to be accessible to beginners while offering advanced tools, including Chartbit Tools, Broker Flow, Fast Order, and Portfolio Performance.
Stockbit has also developed a desktop application for both Windows and MacOS users, offering a modern, interactive trading experience. The app, fully developed in-house, allows for a multi-monitor setup for MacOS users, a feature previously unavailable for seamless stock trading on the platform.
