CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA. PT Xolare RCR Energy Tbk (SOLA), through its subsidiary PT Bumiraya Energi Hijau, has completed the construction of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) on Gang Island, Raja Ampat, West Papua.

Xolare RCR Energy's CEO, Mochamad Bhadaiwi, stated that the PLTS, which has a capacity of 495 KWp and a 2,000 kWh battery, is owned by the mining company, PT Gag Nikel.

"The PLTS project, valued at IDR 25.53 billion, was completed over five months," he said in a press release on Thursday (16/5).

Bhadaiwi noted that the PLTS serves as a power source for the town site's nickel mining needs, which is controlled by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM).

He explained that optimizing the use of solar power could potentially reduce fuel consumption in 3x250kWh capacity diesel generators.

"The use of the PLTS as a renewable energy source can generate 876.76 MWh of electricity per year, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 527.83 tCO2 per year," he said.

Bhadaiwi emphasized that Xolare is committed to expansively developing its business in the renewable energy construction services sector, in line with the increasing demand for environmentally friendly energy.
