CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA. The PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) Group holds a project in the New Capital City (IKN) worth IDR 7.13 trillion.

WIKA's Corporate Secretary Mahendra Vijaya said, from the contract value, the projects undertaken by WIKA are the IKN Toll Road Segment KKT Kariangau - Sp. Tempadung 3B, IKN Toll Road Segment KKT Kariangau - Sp. Tempadung 3B-2, National Axis Road East Side, and Wastewater Pipeline Network.

Mahendra explained WIKA's project in IKN was carried out by pioneering the use of BIM level 5D.

This method is a level of construction planning and project management that allows the collaboration of geometric data, cost processing results, project quantity, and schedule and combines it with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Thus, it produces better visualization while minimizing the risk of work errors and more efficient project management.

In addition, the construction activities of the project in IKN are also supported by the presence of a Digital Control Tower facility.

“This is to facilitate the directors and central management in monitoring, and interacting with the project, while integrating various applications by providing data so as to encourage operational activities to proceed as planned,” he explained.

In 2024, WIKA targets an increase in new contracts originating from the Government that have been allocated through the 2024 State Budget and at the same time targets an increase in production for projects that have been obtained in the previous year.
