Waskita Karya (WSKT) Wins 12 Contracts for IKN Projects, Valued at IDR 7.5 Trillion

ISSUER - JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has secured 12 contracts from IKN worth IDR 7.5 trillion.

In detail, these contracts consist of building segments such as the construction of Kemenko 3 & 4, the Presidential Secretariat Building, road segments such as the IKN Toll Road and the Feeder District Road, and also SDA segments such as the construction of wastewater treatment plants.

“The IKN project uses an Advance Payment and Monthly or Progress Payment scheme so that liquidity and project progress can be better maintained,” said WSKT Finance Director Wiwi Suprihatno to Kontan, on Friday (16/2).

In a political year and government transition, WSKT will continue to support and contribute to government programs.

“The construction of IKN will be the main market for new contract acquisitions sourced from the Government. The continuity of IKN is a positive sentiment for the company's sustainability at this time,” he explained.

Furthermore, WSKT is still focusing on the implementation of financial restructuring, and debt restructuring has become the main point this year.

 

 

Waskita is optimistic that the restructuring can soon be approved by all creditors, thus having a positive impact on the company's finances.

“In addition, the process of improving governance is also continuously carried out to support the company's overall performance both operationally and financially,” he revealed.
