US Imposes Sanctions on Kaspersky Lab Leaders

UNITED STATE (US) - JAKARTA. The United States has imposed sanctions on 12 senior leaders of Russia's AO Kaspersky Lab, citing cybersecurity risks. This follows the announcement of plans to ban the sale of Kaspersky's antivirus software due to national security concerns.

The sanctions, announced on Friday, target top executives including Kaspersky’s Chief Operating Officer Andrei Tikhonov and Chief Legal Officer Igor Chekunov.
