CORRUPTION CASE - JAKARTA. Recent allegations of corruption within several state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia have been a hot topic for law enforcement agencies. One such case has even led to the alleged stalking of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office (AGO), Febrie Ardiansyah, by a member of the Densus 88 special forces.

Agus Sunaryanto, Director of Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), believes that this stalking case could potentially cause friction between the two institutions, both of which fall under the President's jurisdiction. "The President should mediate and transparently explain to the public what the real issue is," he clarified yesterday.
