From TAX, JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) has reported a decrease in tax revenue from January to May 2024, amounting to Rp 760.4 trillion, a drop of 8.4% compared to the same period last year, which was Rp 830.5 trillion.
Abdul Manap Pulungan, a researcher at the Center of Macroeconomics and Finance, Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef), stated that this year's tax revenue has been challenging due to the contraction in sectors such as trade and manufacturing.
