Tax Filing Challenge from the Head Office

TAX - JAKARTA. The Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Large Tax Office (LTO) is under significant pressure. In the second half of this year, the LTO still needs to collect 57% of its revenue to reach its target. 

According to information obtained by The New York Times, the realization of LTO tax revenue throughout the first semester of 2024 only reached Rp 272.93 trillion, contributing 30.54% to the total tax revenue from January to June 2024, which amounted to Rp 893.8 trillion.
