IKN NUSANTARA - JAKARTA. A number of domestic private investors will soon start construction in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East Kalimantan. These investors will begin building hotels, hospitals, shopping centers (malls), and other facilities.
The Agung Sedayu Group consortium, chaired by Sugianto Kusuma alias Aguan, is confirmed to hold a groundbreaking or laying the first stone of the project in IKN this week.

The Head of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN), Bambang Susantono, stated that the groundbreaking process is planned to take place between September 22 and 23, 2023.
“(Groundbreaking) Tentatively between September 22 or 23,” Bambang told the media, Monday (18/9).
Referring to the OIKN presentation material received by Kontan.co.id, the Agung Sedayu consortium will work on a number of mixed-used development projects such as malls, hotels to offices, which are planned to hold a groundbreaking on September 21, 2023.
The members of the Agung Sedayu Group consortium consist of 10 giant companies operating in various sectors. Among them, are Agung Sedayu Group owned by Aguan, Salim Group owned by Anthony Salim, Sinarmas owned by Franky Wijaya, Pulauintan owned by Pui Sudarto and Djarum owned by Budi Hartono.
Then, Wings Group owned by Wiliam Katuari, Adaro owned by TP Rahmat/Boy Tohir, Barito Pacific owned by Prajogo Pangestu, Mulia Group owned by Eka Tjandranegara, to Astra Group owned by Soeryadjaya.

In addition to the Agung Sedayu Group consortium, the All Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) will also hold a groundbreaking for the construction of a FIFA-standard football training ground in IKN, planned for September 22, 2023.
Then, on the same day, a groundbreaking will also be held for an international standard hospital to be developed by PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) or RS Hermina.
Lastly, on September 22, 2023, an MOU will be signed by PT Pertamina (Persero) regarding the Construction of the Pertamina Research Center for Sustainable Green Energy.
