Salim Group Issuer, Indomobil (IMAS), Forms Joint Venture with VKTR

PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS) through its subsidiary PT IMG Sejahtera Langgeng has established a joint venture with the Bakrie Group entity PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR). The President Director of VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas, Gilaris W. Setijono, explained that the establishment of this joint venture aims to increase innovation and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EV) in Indonesia. One of the points of this partnership is that VKTR and IMAS will focus on the development and improvement of electric vehicles for various needs, including passenger and commercial vehicles through the establishment of this joint venture. "This step is taken to ensure greater flexibility and expansion in future cooperation, which may include the passenger and commercial vehicle sectors," said Gilaris in a statement received by Kontan, Wednesday (21/2). In this signing, VKTR will provide a portfolio of technology and extensive knowledge in the field of electric vehicles. Meanwhile, Indomobil will focus. Indomobil will only highlight aspects of the partnership related to EV. Gilaris stated that VKTR hopes the establishment of a joint venture with the Indomobil Group can increase innovation and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia. The establishment of this joint venture and strategic cooperation has been bound in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed in Jakarta on February 20, 2024.


CORPORATE ACTION - JAKARTA. PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk (IMAS) through its subsidiary PT IMG Sejahtera Langgeng has established a joint venture with the Bakrie Group entity PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR). 

The President Director of VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas, Gilaris W. Setijono, explained that the establishment of this joint venture aims to increase innovation and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EV) in Indonesia.
