ISSUER - JAKARTA. The issuer of the Ramayana department store, PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) is preparing a capital expenditure (capex) budget of IDR 200 billion for 2024.
"Ramayana has allocated a Capex of IDR 200 billion for 2024, most of which will be used for the addition of fixed assets, extension of usage rights assets, and normal maintenance," revealed Vice President Director of Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Jane Melinda Tumewu when contacted by Kontan, Monday (5/2).
Regarding the outlets, this year RALS, according to Jane, still has no plans to add new outlets throughout 2024.
"Ramayana will focus on continuing the business transformation strategy by rejuvenating outlets that are considered less attractive or outdated and continuing the lifestyle mall concept that has been carried out in previous years," she explained.

She added, that one of the business transformations carried out by RALS this year is the transformation of Ramayana Mall Garut into a lifestyle mall equipped with food & beverages (F&B) outlets, a hotel, and a waterpark.
"This will make Ramayana Mall Garut the largest and most complete lifestyle center in Garut," she said.
This year, RALS has also set a sales target. Compared to last year, the company targets this year's sales to grow by 10%.
"While maintaining the gross profit margin achieved like last year, and strictly controlling the use of operating costs to be more efficient," Jane revealed.
For additional information, Ramayana has so far operated as many as 103 outlets spread across Indonesia with a total area of more than 900,000 square meters (m2).
