Prospects of Astra International (ASII) Amidst the Onslaught of Chinese EVs

ASTRA INTERNATIONAL - JAKARTA. The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 was abuzz with a variety of new electric vehicle brands from China.

With over 55 brands and 120 supporting industries participating, GIIAS 2024 is claimed to be the second-largest automotive exhibition in the world after China. As in previous years, Gaikindo focused on electric vehicles, although a few internal combustion engines (ICE) and hybrid vehicles were also launched at the event.
