GENERAL ELECTION 2019 - JAKARTA Candidate for presidential number 02 Prabowo Subianto officially dissolved the Indonesia Adil dan Makmur coalition. He terminated the support coalition through internal meetings with five political party secretaries and several other party leaders at Prabowo's residence, Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Friday (6/28/2019).
"The task of the Adil Makmur Coalition is considered complete," said Gerindra Party Secretary-General Ahmad Muzani while giving a press statement at the Prabowo-Sandiaga media center, Jalan Sriwijaya I, South Jakarta, Friday (06/28/2019). "Therefore, since today the Adil Makmur Coalition has dissolved and he expressed his gratitude," he said.
In the meeting, Prabowo returned the support mandate as a vice-presidential candidate to each political party.
The Constitutional Court (MK) has decided the case for the dispute over the results of the 2019 Presidential Election. In its decision, the Court rejected all arguments submitted by the Prabowo-Sandiaga legal team.
After disbanding, according to Muzani, Prabowo handed over decisions and considerations related to political steps to their respective parties. Prabowo will not intervene in anything that becomes the party's decision in the future.
"He respected all and invited political parties to make their own political decisions and steps," said Muzani.
Besides Muzani, attending the meeting was PKS Secretary-General Mustafa Kamal, PAN Secretary General Eddy Soeparno, Democratic Party Secretary-General Hinca Panjaitan, and Secretary General of the Working Party Priyo Budi Santoso. Also present were several other political party officials such as Fadli Zon, Fuad Bawazier, Titiek Soeharto and Maher Algadri.
