JAKARTA. State power utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has officially started electricity supply to Korea-based PT Hankook Tire Indonesia (HTI) in Bekasi, West Java, through the operation of a 150 kilovolt (kV) power house specially built for the tire maker.
As reported earlier, PLN and Hankook had signed an agreement for electricity supply of 60 megavolt-amperes (MVA) for 20 years. The deal’s value was estimated to be worth Rp 5.5 trillion (US$6.3 million). (The Jakarta Post)
