CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA. PT Pegadaian, a state-owned Indonesian pawnshop, is projecting a net profit of more than IDR 5.5 trillion ($385 million) for this year. The company's CEO, Damar Latri Setiawan, announced that they had already achieved a net profit of IDR 1.4 trillion ($98 million) in the first quarter of 2024.
"We hope to exceed IDR 5.5 trillion by the end of the year," Setiawan said during the inauguration of The Gade Tower in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (5/7).
