Mitratel (MTEL) Raises Target for Fiber Optic Cable Network Expansion

LABUAN BAJO, LISTED COMPANY - PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk, also known as Mitratel (MTEL), is focusing its efforts on the development of its fiber optic business. The company has set its sights on expanding its fiber optic operations this year.

Theodorus Ardi Hartoko, the CEO of MTEL, stated that by the first half of 2024, the growth of the fiber optic business is expected to reach 104.9% year on year (yoy). However, the contribution of fiber optics to the total revenue of the first half of 2024 is still relatively small, accounting for only 4%.
