MAPI to issue more bonds for expansion

JAKARTA. Publicly-listed retailer PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI) plans to issue more bonds to expand its business by developing 250 new shops in 2014.

The issuance is the follow up of a previous issuance that targeted Rp 1.5 trillion of funds in total.

“The second and third phases of the issuance will start in the next two or three weeks,” a source requesting anonymity, told kontan.co.id on Friday.

MAPI corporate secretary Fetty Kwartati refused to confirm the planned issuance, which had been said to stand at Rp 500 billion at the least.
