CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA. PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk (BCIC) is optimistic about continuing its positive performance growth in 2024. The change of president and cabinet this year will not deter the company from expanding its business.
J Trust Bank's CEO, Ritsuo Fukadai, said that this optimism is already reflected in the expansion realization at the beginning of the year. As of January 2024, JTrust Bank's credit has reached IDR 24.52 trillion, growing 28.45% annually (year on year/yoy). This is balanced with the growth of third-party funds (DPK) by 31.4% yoy to IDR 32.97 trillion

During Indonesia's ongoing democratic party, J Trust Bank considers the growth of credit and DPK at the beginning of 2024 to be quite encouraging. "This year poses quite a challenge for business actors due to the change of president and his cabinet, but J Trust Bank remains optimistic about its future business prospects," he said in his statement, on Wednesday (21/2).
In 2023, J Trust Bank's DPK achievement exceeded the target set amid tight competition among banking players. The bank also continues to expand its network by opening J Trust Bank branches in central and eastern Indonesia.

J Trust Bank inaugurated its 46th branch office in the city of Tarakan, North Kalimantan province in January 2024. The inauguration of the J Trust Bank branch office was attended by the Governor of North Kalimantan, Zainal Arifin Paliwang, and the Mayor of Tarakan, Dr. H. Khairul, M.Kes.
Ritsuo said, that by expanding the branch office network and services and increasing expansion to several business sectors, they are optimistic about achieving sustainable business growth and making a positive contribution to the community and society.
Tarakan Mayor Khairul welcomed the presence of JTrust Bank. He hopes that banks in Tarakan will boost economic growth. "JTrust Bank has entered at the right time, economic growth in Tarakan is above the national average. We hope the presence of J Trust Bank will bring a new color to financial inclusion, which can be utilized by entrepreneurs and the community, thus contributing to economic growth indicators," he said.
