CONFLICT OF CIVILIZATIONS - JAKARTA.  The United States and Iran continue to escalate their proxy warfare in the Middle East, with each side using its military wings to provoke the other.

The latest report from the IRNA News Agency indicates that an armed group has attacked a U.S. military base in Eastern Syria.

Local media sources quoted by IRNA reported hearing several explosions from within the Koniko base on Saturday, with thick smoke seen billowing into the sky.

Meanwhile, Palestinian news outlets have reported similar accounts of explosions heard in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on the same day.

The sources linked the sound of these explosions to the targeting of spy balloons in the northern Damascus sky by Syrian air defenses.

In a related development, Hezbollah forces have resumed attacks on Israeli military positions.

According to the Al-Mayadeen news network, local authorities have announced and sounded sirens in northern Palestinian settlements currently occupied by Israel and located near the Lebanese border.

Based on these reports, several rockets were launched from Lebanese territory towards the "Barke Risha" and "Al-Zahira" bases in the "Western Galilee" region controlled by Israeli occupation forces.

In addition, Israeli military positions around the city of "Shatola" were directly targeted by attacks from Lebanese territory.

Meanwhile, IRNA reported that Israeli-Zionist forces also launched artillery attacks around the city of "Al-Dahira" in southern Lebanon.

Israeli media also reported that following the security incident, occupation regime authorities asked residents of Shlomi to seek shelter.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah attacked the “Shebaa” and “Isba Al-Jalil” oil fields in the northern region of Palestine occupied by Israeli forces.

Hezbollah forces have once again launched attacks on strategic Israeli military positions at the border.

According to Lebanese media, Hezbollah targeted the Sheba'a farms and the Isba al-Jalil area with several missile attacks.

On the other hand, the anti-missile system of the Israeli Zionist regime was seen firing to counter-rockets launched by resistance forces from southern Lebanon.

Israel's Channel 12 TV reported that some Hezbollah missiles landed in the Udmit region.

Alarms also sounded in Beit Halil and its surroundings in the Isba al-Jalil and Northern Golan regions under occupation.
