MACROECONOMICS - JAKARTA. Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves fell to a five-month low of $152.5 billion in April following currency intervention to support the rupiah, which hit record lows against the dollar last month, Bank Indonesia (BI) said on Thursday.
Reserves decreased by $4.6 billion in April, the biggest monthly drop since May 2023, according to LSEG data.
