MACROECONOMICS - JAKARTA. Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves were $148.7 billion at the end of September, down from $150.7 billion a month earlier, data from the central bank showed on Tuesday.

The September level was the equivalent of 6.2 months of imports, higher than international standards, and adequate to support Indonesia's external sector and maintain macroeconomic and financial stability, Bank Indonesia said.
