Indonesia's 2025 Monetary Policy Will Remain Focused on Stability

BANK INDONESIA / BI - JAKARTA. Indonesia's central bank will keep its monetary policy focus on maintaining financial stability in 2025 while monitoring for opportunities to further lower the policy interest rate, Governor Perry Warjiyo said on Friday.

Global economic uncertainties remain high heading into the new year and Bank Indonesia's policy rate decision will depend on global and domestic conditions, Warjiyo told an annual dinner with financial executives and government officials.
