KONTAN.Co.ID - JAKARTA, Aug 20 - Indonesia's stock exchange will remove its 50 rupiah ($0.0028) minimum share price to improve liquidity and price discovery, its CEO said on Thursday.

The plan was discussed on Wednesday with the Indonesian Securities Companies Association and Indonesian Investment Managers Association, the exchange's CEO Jeffrey Hendrik told reporters

"We have also discussed (this plan) with the global investors," he said, adding that more details will be announced later, including an implementation date, following receipt of more feedback.

The plan comes at a time when Indonesian markets are facing continued scrutiny from global index providers over market transparency and investability.
