PALM OIL - JAKARTA. President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday said that Indonesia may seize an additional 4 million to 5 million hectares (12 million acres) of palm oil plantations this year.
Last year, his task force, which comprises the military, the police and state prosecutors, took over 4.1 million hectares said to be operating illegally in forest areas, targeting major palm oil companies and â??smallholder farmers alike.
