Indonesia Maturity Debt IDR 3.748 Trillion, Prabowo-Gibran Must Be More Careful

SOVEREIGN DEBT - JAKARTA. The Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) has issued a warning to the incoming administration of President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, urging them to avoid reckless spending to manage the debt burden inherited from President Joko Widodo.

It should be noted that Indonesia's maturing debt from 2025 to 2029 amounts to Rp 3,748.24 trillion. This consists of Rp 800.33 trillion in 2025, Rp 803.19 trillion in 2026, Rp 802.61 trillion in 2027, Rp 719.81 trillion in 2028, and Rp 622.3 trillion in the final year.
