CPO - JAKARTA. Indonesia, the world's top palm oil shipper, has issued export permits for a combined 310,000 tonnes of crude palm oil and 18,178 tonnes of olein for six companies, Trade Ministry senior official Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana told Reuters on Monday.

The permits are valid for six months but exporters can request for additional volume after providing proof of domestic sales.
Indonesia last month imposed a new rule requiring permits for palm oil exports and for companies to set aside 20% of planned export volumes for a mandatory domestic sale.
