MACROECONOMICS - JAKARTA. Indonesian central bank governor Perry Warjiyo said on Monday that the rupiah's movement against the U.S. dollar was still under control, adding that the bank would continue to intervene in the market to stabilise the currency.
His statement came after rupiah fell as much as 0.3% to 16,635 per U.S. dollar on Monday, its lowest level since April 30, before regaining some of its losses.
