STATE BUDGET - JAKARTA. Indonesia's government ran a budget deficit of 319 trillion rupiah (US$ 17.83 billion) in the January to September period, or 1.24% of gross domestic product, its finance minister Suahasil Nazara told an economic forum on Thursday.
Total spending in the period reached 2,660.5 trillion rupiah, up 19% from the corresponding period of 2025, the minister said.
