IDX Composite rose 0.29% to 6,501.78 in Thursday's trading (21/3)


STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed up 19.06 points or 0.29% to 6,501.78 at the end of trading on Thursday (21/3).

A total of 193 price shares rose, 195 shares fell, and 144 shares remained price.

Six share sectors sustained the IDX increase. While four other stock sectors were corrected.

The share sectors with the most significant increase were basic industrial sector shares which rose 2.45%, the construction sector rose 1.31%, and the manufacturing sector rose 0.46%.

While the stock sector with the most profound decline was plantation sector shares which fell 1, 12%, the consumer goods sector fell 0.32%, and the miscellaneous industry sector corrected 0.09%.

The total transactions at the Indonesia Stock Exchange reached 15.24 billion shares with a total value of Rp. 8.74 trillion.

LQ45 index shares which are the top gainers today are:

1. PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP, member of Kompas100 index) (6.79%)
2. PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN, member of Kompas100 index) (5.44%)
3. PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR, member of Kompas100 index) (5.18%)

The LQ45 index shares that are the top losers today are:

1. PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN, member of Kompas100 index) (-3.64%)
2. PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM, member of Kompas100 index) (-2.22%)
3. PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY, member of Kompas100 index) (-1.94%)

Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp 58.59 billion in all markets.

Shares with the most significant foreign net sales are PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 122.2 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 79.3 billion and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 66.2 billion.

While the shares with the most significant foreign net purchases are PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 57.2 billion, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 39.3 billion and PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI, member of Kompas100 index) Rp 31.6 billion.
