IDX Composite rose 0.29% to 6,494.63 on Thursday (4/4)


STOCK MARKET - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) rose 18.56 points or 0.29% to 6,494.63 at the end of trading on Thursday (4/4).

As many as 172 shares rose, 227 shares dropped, and 128 shares did not change.

Five stock sectors rose, while five other stock sectors fell. The stock index with the highest gain; The plantation sector index rose 2.19%, the construction sector stock index rose 1.20%, and the financial sector index rose 1.20%.

While the sectoral index with the most significant decline; the mining sector index fell 1.39%, the basic industrial sector index fell 1.01%, and the consumer goods sector index fell 0.58%.

The total trading of shares on the exchange reached 15.53 billion shares with a value of Rp 10.55 trillion.

Foreign investors recorded net buy of Rp 743.69 billion across the market.

Shares with the most significant net buy; PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) Rp. 203.3 billion, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) Rp. 145 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) Rp. 142.8 billion.

Meanwhile, stocks with the most significant net sell; PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) Rp. 94.4 billion, PT Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) Rp. 58.5 billion and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) Rp. 42.1 billion.
