IDX Composite (IHSG) Plunges 1.67% to 7,036 on Friday (26/4)

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) in Indonesia plummeted by 119.21 points, or 1.67%, closing at 7,036.07 at the end of trading on Friday (26/4).

A total of 153 stocks rose, 422 fell, and 203 remained stagnant.

All sectoral indices weakened, following the decline of the IHSG.

The sectoral indices with the deepest declines were the non-primary consumer goods sector, which fell by 2.80%, the health sector, which fell by 2.25%, and the raw goods sector, which fell by 2.01%.

The total trading volume of shares on the exchange today reached 16.70 billion shares with a total value of IDR 14.10 trillion.
