ISSUER NEWS - JAKARTA. PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) recorded a positive performance in 2023 with a net profit of IDR 580.41 billion.
Based on the financial report released on Friday (1/3), the profit attributed to the parent entity or GOOD's net profit increased by 36.50% year on year (YOY) to IDR 580.41 billion, from previously IDR 425.20 billion in 2022.
During 2023, GOOD's net sales were recorded to increase slightly by 0.31% yoy, from originally IDR 10.51 trillion in 2022 to IDR 10.54 trillion.
The net sales consisted of packaged food sales of IDR 9.40 trillion, beverage sales of IDR 1.13 trillion, and other sales of IDR 230.95 billion.

Meanwhile, in terms of geographic segments, domestic sales still dominate with a figure of IDR 10.18 trillion. And export sales worth IDR 357.53 billion.
Despite the increase in sales, the cost of goods sold was successfully suppressed to IDR 7.67 trillion, or 2.33% lower YOY compared to IDR 7.85 trillion in the previous year. Thus resulting in an increase in gross profit of 8.12% YOY to IDR 2.87 trillion last year.
At the same time, GOOD recorded an increase in sales expenses of 3.65% YOY to IDR 1.41 trillion. Where, in the previous year, sales expenses were IDR 1.36 trillion.
On the contrary, general and administrative expenses were able to be reduced to IDR 559.83 billion, compared to 2022 which was IDR 575.59 billion.
