COAL - JAKARTA. Despite recent pressures on coal prices, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) remains optimistic that its sales volume will increase this year compared to the previous one.
It's worth noting that global coal prices for July 2024 contracts have plummeted amidst aggressive renewable energy capacity additions by China and India. According to Refinitiv, coal prices experienced a significant drop during the trading period of June 3-7, 2024.
