CORPORATE STRATEGIC - JAKARTA. PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) is ready to expand its pawnshop business network to strengthen the business ecosystem of auctions and used car retail that the company is engaged in.
By developing the pawnshop business network run by its subsidiary PT Autopedia Sukses Gadai (ASG), ASLC hopes to expand services for funding needs, especially to JBA (auction business) customers and increase dealer-to-dealer (D2D) transaction segments.

Autopedia Sukses Lestari's President Director Jany Candra stated the pawnshop business is a distinct advantage for ASLC in serving customers, as it will facilitate customers with more efficient business transactions.
"We hope that this pawnshop business, which is still in the early stages of development, can increase loan disbursement to JBA customers and a wider market,” he said in a press release, on Sunday (25/2).
To develop this pawnshop business, ASLC has again injected capital of IDR 10 billion into ASG during January and February 2024, making the total capital paid and total capital placed IDR 17.5 billion. This is the third capital increase, where in September 2023 (IDR 2.5 billion) and December 2023 (IDR 2.5 billion) ASLC also increased capital.

ASG already has 2 branch offices that serve loan needs with car collateral, namely in?JBA branches in Jakarta Raya and Jakarta Tipar, and is in the process of opening a branch in Pondok Pinang.
The injection of funds is also used for branch expansion, especially in locations close to used car entrepreneurs. ASLC targets that ASG will have at least three branch offices by the end of 2024.
ASG just got its business license on June 12, 2023, and has already shown results in the third quarter of 2023 by recording revenue of IDR 57 million.
In addition to the pawnshop business, ASLC will also expand other proven business models, namely Caroline.id. ASLC targets that Caroline.id will have at least 18 dealer branches by the end of 2024.
