ISSUER NEWS - JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) is currently targeting a number of toll road projects in several regions in 2024. The tender projects targeted include the Jabotabek toll road, toll roads in Sumatra, and the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) toll road.

"In 2024, there are several toll road sections that are expected to enter the tender process. We are targeting toll road work tenders in Jabotabek, toll roads in Sumatra, toll roads in IKN," said Farid Budiyanto, Corporate Secretary of ADHI to Kontan, Thursday (1/2).

Farid stated that the targeted projects only focus on construction. Furthermore, the toll road business that ADHI owns is mostly still in the construction process, including the Solo-Jogya-Kulonprogo Toll Road and the Jogya-Bawen Toll Road.

He continued, this year ADHI will still move conservatively because it prioritizes the continuity of the project that is currently running to remain good in terms of production and execution.

He added, one of the considerations for ADHI to move conservatively is because last year, the portion of new projects from the government reached a 34% contribution. This contribution is considered a fairly large number.

For information, the toll road project contributed the second highest in the receipt of new contracts throughout 2023.  The Jakarta - South Cikampek Toll contributed IDR 2.1 trillion. Then, the Probolinggo - Banyuwangi Package 1 Toll valued at IDR 1 trillion.

Then, the IKN Package 6 Toll and the IKN Section 3A-2 Karangjoang-Kariangau Toll Road have a contract value of IDR 900 billion.

The Bayung Lencir-Tempino Toll valued at IDR 700 billion. Then, the Serang-Panimbang Section III Toll and Land Development each have a contract value of IDR 600 billion.

In addition to targeting toll roads, ADHI is also targeting several types of projects, such as railway projects, ESG-based projects, and other sectors.

Based on ADHI's disclosure of information, it recorded a new contract gain of IDR 37.4 trillion in 2023.

This achievement increased by 58% from the achievement in 2022 which was IDR 23.7 trillion. The acquisition of new ADHI contracts is dominated by the engineering & construction business line by 93%.
