IDX Composite (IHSG) Closed Up 0.52% to 7,110 on Tuesday (23/4)

IDX COMPOSITE (IHSG) - JAKARTA. The IDX Composite Index (IHSG) closed up 36.99 points or 0.52% to 7,110.81 at the end of trading today, Tuesday (23/4).

A total of 270 stocks rose, 288 fell, and 225 remained stagnant.

Eight sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the rise of the IHSG. Meanwhile, three other sectoral indices entered the red zone.

The sectoral index with the largest increase was the energy sector, which rose 1.26%, the non-primary consumer goods sector rose 1.12%, and the technology sector rose 0.87%.

On the other hand, the weakening sectoral indices were the transportation sector, which fell 0.49%, the raw materials sector fell 0.39%, and the health sector fell 0.23%.

The total trading volume of shares on the exchange today reached 19.44 billion shares with a total value of Rp 12.20 trillion.

2. PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) (3.91%)
3. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) (3.39%)

The top losers of LQ45 today were:

1. PT Mitra Pack Tbk (PTMP) (-6.79%)
2. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) (-4.48%)
3. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) (-3.32%)
