As of April 2024, Eastparc Hotel (EAST) Occupancy Reaches 97.78%

LISTED COMPANY - JAKARTA. PT Eastparc Hotel Tbk (EAST), a prominent hotel issuer, has reported an impressive occupancy rate of 97.78% up until April 2024.

Eastparc Hotel's Marketing Director, Wahyudi Eko Sutoro, noted that the hotel has welcomed a total of 39,826 guests. This aligns with the soaring occupancy rate of Eastparc Hotel, which has also rocketed to 97.78%. 

“The Eid holiday significantly boosted the number of visitors,” Wahyudi explained to Kontan on Wednesday (17/4).

Previously, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that the number of foreign tourists to Indonesia in February 2024 reached 1,036,037 visits. This figure represents a monthly and annual increase of 11.67% and 38.24%, respectively. 

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, also stated that the movement of people during this year's Eid holiday is estimated to reach 193.6 million people. 

This figure is an increase compared to the Eid period last year, which saw 123.8 million people. 

This aligns with the increased number of visitors and room occupancy rate at Eastparc Hotel. Wahyudi stated that Eastparc Hotel will continue to boost the number of visitors throughout 2024.

He revealed that several strategies have been prepared, one of which is implementing cost-efficiency measures and applying dynamic pricing to determine room rates.

“We are also promoting through social media,” he said. 

Wahyudi is targeting that in 2024, Eastparc Hotel can pocket a net profit of around IDR 40-45 billion. As for net income, Wahyudi is aiming for IDR 110-120 billion. 

“For capex, it's IDR 2 billion,” he said.
