JAKARTA. President Joko Widodo is scheduled to receive several CEOs at the Merdeka Palace on Friday.
In the official schedule issued by the State Palace in Jakarta, President Jokowi will receive the publicly listed PT Chandra Asri Petrocemical President Director Erwin Ciputra, Deputy President Director Paramate Nisagormen, Director Suryandi, and Vice President Corporate Relation Suhatmiyarso.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical (CAP) is the largest vertically integrated petrochemical company in Indonesia with facilities located in Ciwandan, Cilegon and Puloampel, Serang in Banten Province.
CAP is Indonesia's premier petrochemical plant incorporating world-class, state-of-the-art technology and supporting facilities.
At the heart of CAP lies the Lummus Naphtha Cracker producing high quality Ethylene, Propylene, Mixed C4, and Pyrolysis Gasoline (Py-Gas) for the Indonesian as well as regional export markets.
After receiving the leaders of CAP at 9 am local time, President Jokowi will receive Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said at 9.30 am, state electricity company PT PLN President Director Sofyan Basir at 10 am, Marine and Fisheries Minister Susi Pujiastuti at 1.30 pm, and Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi at 3 pm local time.
The president is also scheduled to receive his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah al-Sisi at the Merdeka Palace at 4.15 pm after an official state ceremony at the yard of the palace.
After the ceremony, the two state leaders will hold a private meeting which is then followed by a bilateral meeting between delegations of both countries.
During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in several fields between the two countries will be signed in the presence of Presidents Jokowi and Al-Sisi.
Later on Friday evening President Jokowi will host a state banquette in honor of the visiting Egyptian president.
