TANGERANG. The Soekarno-Hatta Airport office has received requests for additional 1,907 domestic flights for Idul Fitri Islamic holiday season.
"So far, we have received plans to add a total of 1,907 flights from several airways," Dewandono Prasetyo Nugroho, branch communication manager of the main branch office of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, said here on Wednesday.
In addition, 16 extra international flights are also planned during the holiday season.
The airport has also anticipated an increase of passengers by five to six percent.
It has also made improvement in its services prior to the holiday season.
