DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION - JAKARTA. PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has completed the general meeting of shareholders, today, April 25, 2019.
One of the important agenda of the meeting was to determine the use of the company's net profit for the fiscal year 2018. PTBA President Director Arviyan Arifin said the GMS decided that part of the net income would be distributed as dividends.
PTBA will pay a dividend of Rp. 3.76 trillion. Since PTBA's net income for the 2018 financial year reached Rp. 5.02 trillion, it means that 75% of the net profit will be distributed as dividends.
"The rest, around 25% of net income, is used for the company's general reserves," said Arviyan during the PTBA AGM on Thursday (25/4).
Thus, the shareholders will receive dividends of around Rp 326.37 per share.
